For those of us who were postponed..

..which seems like a lot of people..

When do we get a final decision, and how?

This is absolutely killing me.

From the Admissions website:

Admission decisions will be made on or by March 15 and students will be notified immediately thereafter.

March 15 is the notification deadline for the second application period as well. You will not be getting your decision any time soon, otherwise they wouldn’t have postponed you. Expect it sometime next year, probably towards March 15, possibly earlier. When your first semester senior grades are available, send them in as soon as possible. If you’re postponed, they want to see them, and I doubt you’ll receive a decision before they get those grades. You will for sure be notified in the mail of a decision. I’m not certain about being notified online, but I remember some folks from last year were notified in mail before their online status changed (if it did at all).

And I don’t know if you have, but read this. http://www.admissions.wisc.edu/images/UW_Postponed_Applicant_FAQ.pdf</a> It’s pretty helpful.
