For Those Of You Who Already Got In

People who already got accepted, did you only get a snail mail? or did you also get an email along with the letter?
Sooo curious.

I did not get in yet, so I could be wrong, but I believe they're not allowed to send likely letters by e-mail.

only snail mail

postal mail

I got a small letter from the school i applied. No email and just an acceptance letter, no info about the school, brochures, nothing.

i got a single sheet of paper inside a very thin envelope. i don't think they're allowed to mail out official packets until april 1st.

No email, just a letter. But, Cornell did e-mail us a link to check our decision before we got the letter.

Will they be a bit quicker to post their decisions as many other schools have already informed us the results? I'm so impatient

The Ivies are not allowed to give out official online decisions until March 31st at 5pm, so these likely letters are only sent via snail mail. (I got one :D)

ahhhh... I am currently away from the mailing address, so I cannot check if the letter came or not! I wish they send emails too, so I can check whether I got the letter or not.

just by mail. small envelope

Apparently the likely letters have only gone out to URMs so far. And yes, it is by mail. Mine is postmarked 3-10 and it arrived today. Friday the 13th hasn't been so unlucky after all...

Someone at my school applied to Hotel Management and was accepted already. I don't know if it was a likely letter or not, but she is not an URM.

Yeah, most of the people who post here about receiving the letter are URM (myself included), but there are a couple who aren't.

small...big but thin envelope

9x12, thin envelope, I didn't know that it would be coming so soon so it's hard to compare the waiting times.
