Was it the best night ever in high school, the day you ever dreamed of? or was it the worst night ever?? Also, rate how was your prom in a scale of
1-10.

Why are you obsessing over a dance that isn't for 9 months?

I mean, it is the best night of your high school life and if you don't go you will probably end up a depressed alcoholic, but start preparing later.

don't start stressing over it till at least after january or something, when college apps r over.

i went to jr prom and the prom itself was decent... its the after-party that makes it.

I went to senior prom last year as a junior.

It was ok.

I wish my school had senior prom.

but honestly, there is no reason why you should be stressing over prom NOW.

I had a blast, easily one of my best high school memories. I brought my boyfriend and a group of about 10 of us just danced in the corner all night. I have a picture of all of us. It was awesome.

I think it was mostly so good because up until about December of my senior year I was not even going to go to prom because I didn't think anyone would ask me. It wasn't something I was looking forward to my whole life, it was something I wasn't going to do but was pleasantly surprised when everything ended up working out well. My friend talked me into going regardless of whether or not I had a date. Then I actually got a boyfriend, though I had to do the asking to prom because he was too young to ask me. ;)

somni!! when i opened this thread, while it was loading ,i said out loud ,"YOU ARE SO OBESSED". OMG LOL, first line i came across ur post #2, -obsessed-... LOL.!

I went to junior prom as a sophomore, and it was.. like a 7 out of 10 I guess.

It felt like a business-casual meeting in a strobe-lit room with lots of dancing in between. There was an afterparty that made it all worth it though.

Senior prom is in an entirely different place, and I've heard that it's really awesome.
