But, I think I’m going Yale, Harvard, Princeton, then Columbia. Leaving the best shot for last…although Columbia did receive a record number of apps this year. (Damn common app transfer.)

My original plan was to do Duke (not an Ivy, I know), Cornell, then Princeton in order. But I ended up getting likely letters to the first two, so now Princeton is the only school I’ve yet to hear from.

I think I’ll just check them in the order I find them in my inbox. =)

To think a week from now we will all know our decisions :O

Less than 24 hrs to go !

Duke and Brown are both coming out at 6 PM for me tomorrow. I’m planning on checking Duke first, then Brown, as Brown is my first-choice school and I want to save it for last.

I got a likely from Dartmouth, so I’ll check it first so I’ll know I made it. Then, work my way up from Cornell.

I’ll check Harvard first, because I am not expecting anything. In fact, I’m expecting rejection from both Harvard and Columbia, but since Harvard sends its decisions straight up in the email (I think this is the case, but someone please correct me if I’m wrong), I’ll just check it quickly and move on. I’ll then check Columbia, and then move on to Cornell, where I feel I have a decent chance. I seriously hope I get at LEAST Cornell.

Checking Dartmouth first because I know theres no chance of getting in there unfortunately. Then I’ll check on my slim chance at Cornell. Expecting 2 rejections, but we’ll see.

practically, I’ll check them in whatever order they show up in my inbox. I’ll be refreshing my email every ten seconds after 4pm CST anyway and am too antsy to wait for them all to arrive (I applied to four Ivies). But if I could pick an order, I would check Harvard first (because I don’t have a shot there no matter what), then Dartmouth (still incredibly unlikely), then Columbia (even more unlikely than Dartmouth, but I liked it better), and finally Cornell (my favorite – want so badly to get in! hope I do, my dad went there so that helps).
I’m hoping to be accepted at one. Please please just one and I’ll be thrilled!!!

Cornell (best chance but also unlikely) –> Columbia (slim possibility)–> Yale (Dream school/ hardest one )

I have a friend of mine who isn’t checking her ivy decisions till Friday !

i dont think i even have the guts to open them… i was thinking of just leaving the emails there and waiting for the actual letters to come in the mail… on the other hand, that would be incredibly difficult to do.

guys, only harvard sends the decisions by email…

Harvard (slimest chance/easiest to see)-> Columbia-> UPenn (best shot)

unlocked-- yes, but we can still check the student portals in whatever order we choose.
