For those of you who attended Harvard...

I have a quick question:

Which activities/clubs/sports in Harvard have many seniors that will graduate in 2007 leaving a dearth of spots open for freshman?

This is an important question for me.
Anyone have any idea?
Thanks in advance for any responses.

Umm...Why is this is an important question for you? Are you planning to custom fit your activities list in order to get admissions officers to admit you?
That's a bit unethical don't you think?

If your motives are less sinister, I hate to bust your bubble, but there's rarely a darth of eager students who wish to dedicate their time to a certain activity.

windCloudultra, i'm not going to custom fit my activities, because i can't just make stuff up that i'm not doing; it will just seem fake to admissions officers. Instead, i am just figuring out what strengths i should play out more that i am already doing... and also i wanted to see if i attended harvard would i have to compete really hard for activities that i may be interested in.

Clifton Dawson will be graduating, so there is an opening for a thousand-yard rusher on the football team.

That's a good one Byerly.

Rivers Cuomo just graduated too, so Harvard will also be in need of a famous rock star.

Never heard of him...am I behind the times?
(Or her?-I don't know)

Lead singer of Weezer, silly.

Wow...I think I'm going to go drown myself. Oh well, I can get the new Killers CD and redeem myself.

That may be worse than drowning yourself.

It's terrible, imo.

to the OP: "dearth" means insufficiency or lack of. so when you say "leaving a dearth of spots open for freshman [sic]" that means you're looking for clubs that won't have any spots open for freshmen. i don't mean to be a ***** but i just thought i'd point that out. i wouldn't want you to make a mistake like that on your essay haha

i meant to say "a dearth of people involved"

Is the bagpiper graduating?
