Are you in-state or out of state? What major did you declare? How do you feel about going to Cal Poly SLO?

what does ED mean? sorry for being off topic

In-State

Major: Natural Resource Management

I am really excited to go to Cal Poly SLO next year. The value of the education is unbelievable, I will be paying less the 15k per year for an education as reputable as most of the UC's.

The main draw is the location. San Luis Obispo has perfect weather, no smog, its a very short drive to the beach, and its safe. A lot of people dont factor in that the college they choose will be their future location for the next 4-5 years. Personally for the next four years I want to be by the beach, in a small city, with awesome weather year round, and not have to worry about air pollution.

The class sizes are small, and the education is hands on. My only concern is about changing majors. I plan to change either to Political Science, City & Regional Planning, or Agricultural Business after 1-2 quarters.

ED = Early Decision

My son was accepted ED into the Architecture program...he (we) are very excited as this has been his first choice school for Architecture for quite some time. He found out the same day that two of his best buds got into the Engineering program, so he's very happy. We are out of state.

Animal science major from out-of-state. I'm superrrr excited to go to poly. =]
