For those still waiting...

I know there are several on this board who are still waiting for positive results and I just wanted to say hang in there. I know how hard it must be to read about all the happy endings, while you are waiting for your own. It is a long road, with many twists and turns, but it will come to an end. It may not be the end you envisioned, maybe something quite unexpected, but I believe everything happens for a reason. There is so much to be learned from this process and our student-athletes have benefitted so much from having this experience. And no matter the outcome, our community of kids will be fine. Just look at what they have accomplished in their young lives, each and every one of them! And I look forward to celebrating with each of you when your big news arrive. I just wanted you to know that I am thinking about you all!

Your post made me cry, fishymom. My son’s road has been difficult because of back to back injuries. Deadlines are quickly approaching and he still does not know what he is doing. Thank you for the kind words of support - it really does help.

Hang in there, keylyme!!! Good things happen to good people. Not always as we plan, but hard work, character, and intelligence are rewarded.

Keylyme, I am so sorry you are in this situation. I hope that your son’s injuries are healed and that he is doing well. And I know that eventually things will work out well for him!
