<p>I'm just curious how your teacher grades your essays, like is your teacher gave you a 7(or whatever number) then about what would the percent for it be? Personally I think my teacher makes the percentage kinda low but I want to see if that's true.</p>

<p>this is our grading scale 9=98%, 8=95, 7=88, 6=85, 5=75, 4=68, 3=65, 2=62, 1=55.

8 = 38/40 = 95%
7 = 36/40 = 90%
6 = 34/40 = 85%
5 = 32/40 = 80%
4 = 30/40 = 75%
3 = 28/40 = 70%
2 = 26/40 = 65%
1 = 24/40 = 60%</p>

<p>So you really can't fail a forty-minute write. But our long-term essays are worth more than forty points.</p>

<p>lol i guess a 9+ would be a 100..but the highest ive ever gotten was an 8. im relying on MC to save me..</p>
