I am a junior and would be interested in applying next year.

So if you got accepted / rejected please state;

Status: (Accepted / Rejected)
GPA: (State whether weighted or unweighted and how you weighted it, and through what years, i.e. 10-11, 9-11) (On second thought, how does USD calculate GPA??)
SAT or ACT: (How does USD use this? Do they include W?)
EC & Additional Info:
How well you think you did on essays:
Anything else?:
What major you got in / got rejected:

also can you say whether you applied regular / ED / EA and what happened, and whether you applied for scholarships and financial aid and what happened.

I'm a sophomore at USD now, but here's what I got in with:

GPA: 4.2 weighted, 3.8 unweighted. 9-12.
SAT: 2070 total (although I don't think they counted writing)
Good ECs, pretty good essays. I applied regular decision.

As for scholarships, you are automatically considered based on your application. I got the presidential scholarship, which is a total of $40k over four years.

Status: Accepted
GPA: Unweighted- 3.61 out of 4.0
Weighted- I took 5 APs and 3 honors classes.
ACT: 31, this is cumulative
How well you think you did on essays: I worked hard on them. But, after re-reading one of them I realized that I spelled a word wrong. :-/
Anything else?: Solid extracurriculars. Mostly academic, such as the debate team. Only 1 year of Varsity softball. I didn't do everything, but I did really well in the teams/clubs I participated in.
What major you got in / got rejected: I don't think they do this..?

I was offered a Trustee Scholarship for $17,500 a year and they picked me to apply to the honors program.

Post #4: What is a "cumulative" ACT score? Did you mean to write "composite" or did you just add up the total of each section? I am curious because an ACT score of 31 is very impressive and a lower ACT composite score should not deter one from applying to the Univ. of San Diego.
