<p>Are ti-84 calculators allowed for this class on tests? How about ti-89?</p>
<p>Anything without a keyboard. Both are allowed. I used ti84 and it worked just fine, it is what most students have. ti89 is good because it does derivatives and things of that nature, but these exams are basically writing an essay (there is so much work to show, you every step and thought must be written down and shown to receive full credit) and very rarely involve actual numbers, therefore ti89 is basically useless except for on WebHWK.</p>
