For those who applied early action does anyone know when they will get an admissions decision?

Son applied EA and has heard nothing.

The deadline for notification is January 15.

My son (who applied EA last year) heard right around the January 15th date.

I know it is January 15 but I really hope we find out sooner! Its so hard waiting! Loyola is in my top 3 schools, and I would love to go there. Anyone know if we find out how much scholarship money we get with the decision letter (granted i get in…keeping the fingers crossed!)

My daughter applied EA and received her acceptance letter today. The Loyola website says EA notification is by Jan 15 so this was a little early. Merit scholarship notifcation for EA applicants is supposed to be by Feb 15, so maybe that will come a little early, too!

If my son hasn’t received his acceptance by now, is the writing on the wall?

^^ Not necessarily. According to Loyola, Early Action decisions are made by January 15. As for what order they review files and give decisions (e.g., first in first out, alphabetical, regional, strength of app) I don’t know, but just because some folks have heard already isn’t a reason to assume your son is not yet. Good luck.
