For those who applied ED

Are you allowed to take the november SAT for ED?

thanks

From NYU admissions "If you are applying as a Regular Decision Freshman, you should plan on completing your testing by the December test date. We strongly recommend that Early Decision applicants complete all testing by the October test date, although November scores usually arrive in time to be considered."

And no "Rush Report" for scores.

Assuming the policy stays the same from previous years, it should be permissible to take the Nov. SAT for ED. However, if you can, I'd reccomend taking it earlier just so you know your score before applying (NYU ED deadline is in November and they'll get your score the same time you do).

thanks a lot guys...maybe you can give me your opinion on my situation

I have taken the SAT once in May and got a 1970..650 math, 670 reading, 650 writing

I took two SAT IIs in June: 740 US & 560 Math IC

I want to apply ED to steinhardt and my guidance counselor told me it would be a good idea to take the SATs again so I planned on doing that in october..and as you can see I bombed the sat II math so I wanted to take the math IIC in november. Any input would be great!

Hi - my daughter's math and verbal SAT's were a LITTLE higher than yours, and she got in, but she is entering Tisch. Not sure if Steinhardt is more/less competitive (she's going to CAP21). I would take them again, just in case. My daughter's SAT II's were horrible, though! I think if your regular SAT's are good, they might not worry as much about the SAT II's. Just my opinion! Good luck!

Go for it, and what will your major be?

communications...most likely mass media and communication
