i agree with coast, except i've already had my college experience. Dorms are where you meet the majority of your friends so it really sucks that SD doesn't provide transfers dorms.

I forgot the order of the colleges I chose....let me find out.

Revelle:1, Eleanor Roosevelt:2, John Muir:3, Thurgood Marshall:4, Sixth College:5, Earl Warren:6

I probably chose these at random. I can imagine my thinking: "Hmm, I like the sound of the word "Revelle", it rolls off the tongue nicely. "Revelle, Revelle, Revelle". Well, Eleanor Roosevelt was pretty awesome. Muir, hmmm...hippies aren't so bad"

Does anyone know which one of UCSD's colleges is best suited for a Political Science major? Yes, I am too lazy to check the website. XD

600 posts!

The one with the least science GE's. I would say Muir, Thurgood, or Warren. If youre into poli sci with an international focus then ERC might be a good choice too. It's one of the harder colleges but they also have great study abroad programs and tons of international-related internships. The only problem is ERC only partly accepts IGETC.

Warren has the least GEs. Period.

"Warren has the least GEs. Period."

But warren also has upper division requirments. You have to take 2 upper division courses in a non native major. If your in a science course you need to take a hummanity, and vise versa.

damn all of these requirements. I always learn more when I take classes that I'm actually interested in. I don't feel more well rounded because I had to take things like Eng 1B, I feel like it was a waste of my time. I was so looking forward to not having to do anymore of that stuff.

what's the website for admission decisions for ucsd?
