<p>If you did, did they notify you after you completed FAFSA, or even before?</p>
<p>I was accepted through on-the-spot admissions at my high school. The counselor told me that she would recommend me for an academic merit scholarship, but couldn’t tell me how much they would give me. I received my acceptance packet a week later, but the letter informed me that I was still being considered for a scholarship offer, and the offer would come in a few weeks. I’m currently waiting for that. Anything need-based would come after FAFSA, I’d imagine.</p>

<p>I was accepted and in the letter it said i qualified for a scholarship but it didn’t tell me what it actually was…</p>
<p>I got accepted the day after Thanksgiving, and yesterday I was notified I got the Trustee scholarship.</p>
<p>I got a letter from them yesterday and I was awarded the deans scholarship award for 10k/yr. I never filled out the fafsa and they said you can still accept the scholarship even if you opt out of filling out the fafsa.</p>

<p>I received a scholarship for 12,000 per year. 11,500 for academic records and 500 for extracurriculars… ect. However, I did so much during my four years of high school… even published a paper for a scientific journal and I strongly believe that I should be receiving more than 500 a year. I e-mailed them asking if they can look over my application once more. I’m so disappointed and nervous about what to do. I’m really not happy with just 12,000 a year. Has anyone else received scholarship notifications?</p>

<p>I got 15,000 per year and only $500 for extra. also!! I was very disappointed, with the $500 because I did so much in high school, my one friend got $1000.</p>
<p>But I think that the recognition award is mostly geared toward community service, even so I heavily participated in community service activities throughout the year.</p>
<p>i did get accepted at Adelphi and they said i was been considered for scholarships but they haven’t specify what, or how much they are giving me. though im really considering going there.</p>
<p>I got accepted into the Honors College and I automatically received $20,000 a year :)</p>
