Congrats! And please, for the love of God, choose Yale!

Yes come to Yale :).

Really though, where are you guys leaning?

Haha.

At this point, I honestly don't know. There are pros and cons to both. I will be visiting both next week with my dad and probably again with the rest of the admitted students.

I got into both, too. Yale was my first choice, and I applied there early. Then I applied RD to Harvard, without giving it much thought. I never thought I'd get in, so it was a pleasant surprise. But I'll have to visit Harvard, though. I only decided to apply Yale EA a few weeks before the EA deadline because I loved it after visiting. So I don't know if Harvard will do the same thing to me. But most likely, like 90% sure that I'll be going to Yale. I'll tell how you I know this. I got into Harvard first, and I was just like, wow, I can't believe it. And then I told my family just like a normal person. Okay, never mind. A normal person would be really excited. I told them really calmly, in a very soft voice. When I got into Yale an hour later, I read it calmly, and then when I told my mom, I screamed and jumped up and down twice, so I think that is where my heart is.

I will definitely visit Yale during Bulldogs Day. But what's up with Harvard's late Open House thing? It's on the 29th to May 1! I don't know what to do... maybe I'll try to visit Harvard sometime in April, instead.

I got into both. I wasn't really expecting to get into Harvard because my interview was sort of weird, and because of the uber-selectivity and all that. So it was a pleasant surprise, yeah.

Unfortunately, I live abroad. I really wish I could visit both schools and go to their admitted students days and such.

I'm leaning toward Yale. Like suburbian, I'm 90% certain it's going to be Yale.

Same here. I really like Yale. I visited both over my school's spring break, and Harvard's surroundings seemed dirty. Moreover, the architecture wasn't very aesthetically pleasing. Yale, however, with its many residential college renovations, is beautiful. Beyond that, I like New Haven. Hey, the Payne Whitney is the world's largest gym. Um, what else? Berkeley College's dining hall was rated 4 stars in the New York Times. So, I guess the residential colleges and the available activity funds through the college masters are great. I just hate that I'm leaning away from my childhood 1st choice, Harvard. One more thing...Harvard students tend to be more unhappy in general from what I gather.

i got into both too....never expected the harvard acceptance, wow...now having to make a decision that i never considered leaning yale tho

Lindsey! Major Congrats! I'm so happy for you--- I'm happy for ALL OF YOU!

Man, what a nice decision to make :)

man, you guys are amazing stuff!

I got into both. I'm pretty sure I'm going to Harvard (or possibly Duke with a scholarship). I liked Yale during my visit, and it's incredible on paper, but it didn't seem to "fit" the way Harvard did.

Lindseylujh, congrats! You overcame that little bump in the road and have deservedly ended up with great choices. I never had any doubts about your chances. Now it's time to make the big decision. You'll be ok whwerever you go, but think about your academic goals and choose wisely.

Ahh! I have to look at who's giving me more money. I'm just so happy I got in!

I'm jealous...My Harvard interviewer told on me (he knew about my Yale EA acceptance), so I had trouble convincing the adcom that Harvard was the place for me.

Oh well, I know I'll be much happier in New Haven. I like Gothic architecture... ;)

I was accepted by both. I'd say that I'm 95% sure that I'll choose Yale. I think it fits my personality/interests much better than Harvard does. Even so, only time (and visits) will tell...

Good job Lindsey!

It's a tough decision, choosing between H or Y. But I'm leaning toward Y now.

Congrats to you too, Davidrune. You hit solid homeruns. You earned it.

Thanks for all the help Zuma throughout this whole stressful period.

I got accepted into Yale and Harvard also. But I also just got accepted into Stanford after being deferred there EA.

Honestly I would have to say that I'm leaning towards Stanford... how can you say no to Cali sun? On the other hand how can you say no to the Big Two?

Its going to be a tough choice, but I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to have a choice....
