I really like to know which books did help u the most for getting >2300. I really need advice. My SAT Math is 680 n SAT CR is 760. I am aiming to get over 2300.

there are probably dozens of threads on this topic :)

Princeton Revieeeeew.

Do it regularly, really.

Barrons! Yeah, search CC, trust me, there r a lot more than dozens of threads on this topic!

...blue book.

Asifkhan, did u use barrons 2400 or the workbooks?

Guys, I know there are tons of threads on the topic but digging through CC to find thm has given me insomnia. It is pretty hard to find the accurate posts. Reading through Xiggi's stuff alone has given major migraine. Anyway thnks for the feedbacks!

The Barron's questions are FAR HARDER than the actual College Board test questions. The Blue Book is the best option.

When I prepped for the old SAT (I never prepped for the new one) I used the equivalent of the blue book, i.e. the Ten Real SATs book. I was scoring consistently in the 1580-1600 range. I ended up with a 1600 on the real thing and a 2400 on the new test. When I decided to start up tutoring, I went to go check out the various prep books and found myself spending about 3-4 more minutes on each Barron's crit reading section and scoring in the 2360 range.

I think it's a confidence killer. One of the students I'm tutoring brought that book in on Monday to go over a few sections. She's been regularly hitting a 740 in Verbal but missed FIFTEEN questions in two sections before I told her enough. Yesterday, we went through our last Verbal section as practice and she didn't drop one. 800. That Barron's is a confidence killer.
