yay guitarshark!! see ya in a mass comm class at cal!!!

Any new ideas???

tallkell, where are you transferring from?

It is only me, who chose UCLA over UCB??? POl S major

^^ check out the UCB and UCLA forum...lots of people did

Good side... ahhah which one did you choose?

I went from Cal to UCLA again... ahhh. I don't know! I got into Cal for Poli Sci and UCLA for history. The thing is: I want to major in sociology. To declare sociology, I'd have to take more math - the site says it has to be completed before transferring. Does anyone know if they are flexible with completing the work at a CC and then switching majors at UCLA?

"tallkell, where are you transferring from?"

Orange Coast College

Well guys, SIR has been submitted, e-mail setup and everything else. I'm definitely going to be a bear instead of a bruin now!

I'm still deciding. Now I'm 50/50 split on UCLA and UCB! :( :( :( Hahaha, I probably won't submit the SIR until June 1st.

sarcasm, come to Cal, you'll have more fun since I'm there ;-)

I still don't know. :( I realized that no matter where I am, close or far away from home, I'll still probably feel the same way. It's just easier to run back home to cry by myself in my corner if I get in a tough spot.

sarcasm, this a perfect oppurtunity for you to get some new experiences! I know living far away from home isn't what you want, but you can use the next two years to help pave the way towards yourself becomming more independent; think of it as evolving. Besides, you won't get homesick when you're having such a blast here!

Haha, that's pretty much what my sister said when she was trying to convince me why I should go to Berkeley. Like I need to ditch my friends and get better ones. That it's closer to snowboarding (SoCal has crappy mountains!), even though I'm awful at it. My personality would mesh better with Berkeley, blah blah blah.

So I may or may not join the rest of the Bears on CC! :)

Also, UCLA has these classes at their gym (?) where you can learn a variety of sports/physical activities, like achery, fencing, and what not, does Berkeley have the same thing?

you fence? Sweet, I wouldn't mind getting a new sparring partner.

Nooo, I'm just interested in learning! I've always wanted to learn archery and fencing. They have an archery school here, and I've always been meaning to sign up for it, but never found the time. Ooh, maybe this summer since there's no summer school!

You fence? I think you've only told CC that you play the gee-tar.

lol there's many things you don't know about me sarcasm...many things...but yes I do fence. I have fenced for 5 years in foil and a few months with sabre. However, I quit to focus more on track but have been meaning to get back into it.

What? Boo! Why would you quit fencing to run? Fencing is so much cooler. :( So I guess you didn't do archery then? 'Cause that'd be even more awesome! I missed out on so much not learning anything! I need to be more dedicated and stop quitting everything, haha.

Oh, cool! They have fencing , archery and some other sports clubs you can join to learn!

lol. I'm gonna hit the sack but you sound like a very cool interesting person sarcasm. And where do cool interesting people go? Berkeley! Do it girl!

Tallkell, I'm from IVC. Very cool.
