For those who have visted Bryn Mawr...

Collegeboard.com identifies it as being located in a very large city. When on the campus, do you actually feel like you're in the city? Would it be like attending Barnard? Or it is just as serene as a small-town college?

Thanks for the input!

Bryn Mawr is in a ritzy old close-in suburb maybe ten miles from downtown Phila. It's surrounded by large old homes, probably built in the early 1900s. Not urban at all. Very nice campus and neighborhood.

The main road a few blocks from campus has a pretty eclectic assortment of businesses, including a Ferrari dealership.
