For those who took the ACT September and took it before then as well...

I was wondering--those who have taken the ACT multiple times, including the September ACT, did you feel that the science was particularly hard during the September one? At least compared to the other months you have taken the ACT?

I'm disappointed in my score--science was the only section that dragged me down. I don't know if I want to retake it in October but I wanted to hear people's opinions about the difficulty of the science section...if the science section is always at this level of difficulty, then I'm not gonna bother retaking.

Opinions, please?

science was harder but i still did better... u just have to keep prepping...

Agreed. I got a 32 on the science in March, but that helped me get used to the timing... I got a 36 in September.

Your first time with Science is always the hardest.

You just have to find the technique that works for you.

After I found my technique, I went from a 28 in July to a 36 in September.

Just have to practice. I went from a 23 science on my first test last December to a 31 in September. Practice and some luck.

I got a 35 in science the first time I took an act in march, and I thought the sept science was really hard, I got a 32. still happy with the score though and improved overall
