For those who were accepted ED and have been slacking off...

What are your current grades and are you worried about possibly getting rescinded?
I've heard that you should only worry about that if you are getting D's or F's but I'm still sort of worried.
I currently have: B+, C+, B+, B+, C
I used to be a straight A student so I don't think they'll like that very much :/
My quarter ends on Friday with midterms on Thursday and Friday and hopefully I can bring that up to A, B, A, A, C.

my feeling - don’t worry. I have never seen a post here or heard of anyone ever having their ED offer rescinded at Cornell for any reason - Cs or Ds or whatever.
my opinion is that as long as you get your diploma, your ed acceptance is not going to be rescinded.

On my midterms, I got C+ for three classes. I got a C+ for my marking period 2 grade for AP Calc BC.
Not a single word / warning from Cornell. I’m sure they would understand any lack of performance, just as long as you don’t fail or do something illegal.

C+, B-, B+, the rest As. I only had one B first semester haha. I’m not really worried, but it does make me feel nervous when I get back a bad grade…

Jw, would a ticket for excessive speeding be of concern? lol obv it’s illegal. I just don’t know if they would see it or do anything about it.

I’m pretty sure getting a speeding ticket is a rite of passage.

A rite of passage for what?

Into becoming an adult!

lol I guess. Does it make a difference if my ticket requires a mandatory court date though? I haven’t gone yet so idk the consequences but let’s just say I wasn’t very close to the speed limit…

As all the way - but that’s how I’m programmed!
I had a thread about this earlier and I was worried about my math grade.
Turns out, I did fail that test (<30), but guess what, my math grade is a 98 now.
:D

The other tests saved me, if you’re wondering how that could have happened.
I have just been powering through every course now and not really trying.
By “trying,” I mean that I would only study for a test the day before it - and for maybe only two or three hours max.

Hmm… Maybe I should have been doing this all along!
You know, getting your best grades while not worrying about them at all?

Yeah. im a little worried about this too. Is one D ok, if all threst are As…? I really hate math haha

imi, I don’t think you need to worry.
I never heard or read anywhere about someone being rescinded at cornell no matter what.
As long as you graduate you should be fine.
Enjoy senior year.

englandern. Ok thanks. I was on the verge of freaking out. we started late so this semester has fewer grades and Im pretty sure I close to failed the last test. Its a relief that its not too big of a deal.
