@Tony, same with me. What are your stats?

Rejected from Engineering, looking at Carnegie Mellon, Villanova, and Lehigh.

Positives to getting rejected:
Its cold as balls

@Nicky Exactly! Suddenly I’m starting to hate Cornell lol

NickyNick…You received news of a rejection today but don’t let your bitterness come through by posting silly untrue information.

Wishing you the best of luck with your other choices!

Deferred, still my number one choice but UIUC is my second (not for engineering though, business).

deferred, I still have a slight hope, but #2 is probably Notre Dame… probably gonna end up at University of Delaware haha its not the worst thing in the world at least.

‘Momma’, sure the 2nd might be up to personal opinion but…well it is pretty freaking cold and the suicide thing IS true.

denied.

second choice is Washington University in St. Louis

**** Cornell. Straight deferred. I guess I’ll have to stay in sunny southern California. I’m looking at USC ucla Berkeley Emory Michigan Vanderbilt Carnegie Mellon penn

UT Austin. Close to home, and it’s got a nice engineering program.

I suppose it’s better that I don’t go to Cornell, there’s an explanation for everything =/

Edit: I got straight-up rejected, forgot to mention that.

Deferred humec and CALS.

Anyone know if ILR rejects, or only defers?

deferred. Cornell is still my number one, but my second is William and Mary.

Rejected.

I honestly don’t know anymore I feel like I’m going to get rejected from every ther place I apply to now… However, I would love to attend UCLA. I have a strong feeling about me ending up at UC Davis though.

Anyone else feel denial when you first got your rejection/deferral? I swear I checked 3 times! Hahah.

I felt the same way. I am so heartbroken. I have no idea where I want to go. I’m burning my Cornell shirt this weekend…

@NickyNick. The suicide thing is only a reality because Cornell has gorges, and while some students in the past have not sought the help they needed, other people in and around Ithaca use the Gorges as well. It is not just Cornell students. There are a plethora of resources on campus for anyone who may need any sort of help.

hi i was accepted (don’t swarm & attack though!) but one of my best friends got deferred and is in love with u michigan. just wanted to throw that out there. good luck everyone!
