<p>I loved the school :D
I stayed with a girl from my high school, so I already knew her and it was easier for her to show me around, tell me about the school, etc, because we're pretty similar. I got to see all the dorms except College House because she's an RA, and there was a freshman dorm tour ^_^ That was amusing. ANYWAY I heard the president is very fond of his bow ties, which makes him inherently cool. And the campus HAS TREES (one of the turnoffs of UPS: not enough trees) and is pretty and open. And all the kids I met were really intelligent and funny and welcoming. So yeah. I got Whitman socks even though I had still to visit Reed at that point... and I'm glad I got the socks.
I didn't get the chance to eat the dining hall food, but I did eat at Reed (they also have Bon Appetit, so it's the same stuff) and the breakfast smoothies are heavenly, and the salad bar is pretty good too. So food oughtn't be a problem. Heh I'm just so glad that I FINALLY HAVE A SCHOOL TO GO TO after months and months of sweating over SATs, apps, and the wait.</p>
