I’ll start:

Belmont University
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga
Berry College
Anyone else?

@CCadmin_Sorin what are the requirements to add forums? Thanks!
I think this is posted in the wrong topic. Also, isn’t there something like this already? Under “Colleges and Universities” there’s a link that says “Alphabetic list of colleges”, and it lists many colleges and universities.
Or is the campuses you’re interested in not listed there at all?
@astrophilia No, this is the correct area. Those suggested here are for colleges that don’t already have their own forums.
I vote for some of the conservatories that don’t have their own page yet, such as New England Conservatory, San Francisco Conservatory, Berklee, or Cleveland Institute of Music. I haven’t looked that hard, but the only one I’ve found that already has a page is Juilliard.
Ahh, okay. I thought things like this would go in Community and Forum Issues. I’ve only been posting for like, three weeks haha. Sorry!
Hunter College (CUNY)
Queens College (CUNY) (I understand there is a CUNY system forum but some others also have their own like Baruch and City, why not these two?)
University of Houston
Good luck. Here’s a 7 1/2 year old request to add a link to some of the CC Top LAC’s in the alphabetical listings. Still hasn’t happened. I love this site and I think its mods do a great job, but this is ridiculous.

Maybe it’s political or something?
Or perhaps colleges have to pay CC a fee to have a forum??
I want to add my university, Bridgewater State University, but I doubt many people from my university actually use this site.
Well, @jayrun thanks to you, not only do I now know that Bridgewater State exists, but also I know that it is in Bridgewater, MA.
The point is: students from all backgrounds use this site. Many of them are going to go to their smaller local schools and need a resource for finding out info on them. Therefore, it would be nice if there were some mechanism to add forums for currently unrepresented schools.
Again, perhaps there is such a mechanism that I don’t know about, or perhaps colleges have to sign up or pay a fee. Anyway, there are some real diamonds in the rough out there that few people know about (Tennessee Tech = one example), and CC is one of the few venues where people can find out nearly anything they want about a college.
CC is sort of like Star Trek. When you post a question on these forums, you are asking “the collective.” More often than not, the collective will answer correctly!
No fee is required. The administrators want to see a certain amount of activity before they start a new forum. A couple of times, they have started a new one because people said they would use it, but nobody did. If you look through the list, there are a lot of schools that see very little activity. If you want to see a school represented, you should start some threads about them and see if many people respond.
I would like to see South Dakota School of Mines.
@jay1811 I had heard of Colorado School of Mines but never SD.
Will check it out.
I actually am surprised there is no Belmont forum since they hosted a Presidential Debate.
Actually, neither…
While it would be great if we could have a forum for every college, we do have to be a bit choosy (as we don’t have unlimited resources to keep an eye on additional online real estate). That said, we typically look for schools around which there is current discussion in the forums. The whole “if you build it they will come” theory doesn’t really apply here, as creating a forum for a school has never guaranteed spontaneous discussion. Rather, we look for schools that are mentioned frequently in the College Admissions and Search forums, for example, and then make a decision on whether that school should have its own forum. True, you will probably find some school forums that haven’t had consistent activity for months or longer. Given how large the CC community is it remains a challenge for us to ensure the list of school forums is updated.
Thank you for the suggestions, though. We can certainly check on some of these.
In the case of Belmont University, there is quite a bit of activity around their music program, so this could be a good candidate for having a school forum (though not due to hosting a Presidential debate).
@lenitus thanks!
I’ll add Roanoke College to the suggestion list!
I also would like the University of Tenn at Chattanooga.
