For which of these schools is Early Decision known to help?

Many schools seem to say that ED will not increase your chances, but many times it seems like it can help. For which of the colleges listed below is early decision known to increase chances?

Also for some of these schools I am not sure if they offer ED or not because I have heard that UCs do offer ED but I have also found sources that say they do not so I am not sure. If there is no ED for UCs, I have also heard of something called ELC but I am not exactly sure how that can contribute to early decision.

UC Berkeley
UC Santa Barbara
UCLA
UC San Diego
Cal Poly SLO
UC Davis
USC

Out of all the schools listed, only Cal Poly SLO and USC over early decision. NO UC offers ED. Application is for RD and due November 30. ED is only if you are 100% sure you want to attend that school regardless of the financial aid they offer. You can only do ED to 1 school so if you are able to afford USC or Cal Poly SLO without seeing their financial package, I would only then apply. I think it does give some advantage if you want to apply ED but I have not seen any specific STATS.

UC and USC do not offer Early Decision
