Forbes Magazine college rankings

Granted, college rankings are pretty lame, including US News, but check out where Colby was in this one! Since magazines seem bound and determined to rank colleges and people actually do pay some attention, it's kind of satisfying to come out ahead of most of the Ivy League, a lot of the NESCAC and a ton of other great schools.

…and as sailfish said, it’s just for fun! (but also satisfying…) :)

That’s an interesting list. Especially because a school like Dartmouth comes in 98th, behind many “no name” colleges. I wonder what Forbes’s ranking criteria were.

According to the USA Today:

Students at some schools, as is the case with Dartmouth, use their internal rating system almost exclusively, and RateMyProfessor very seldom.
Forbes is all about the money. A right wing rag with no credibility. Anything run by Steve “flat tax” Forbes and featured regularly on Faux…er Fox News isn’t worth the onion skin it is printed on.

So I take it you’re a Republican?

“You betcha!”

To quote Sarah Palin :)
