Yeah, you have a really good course load and nice EC!! Good luck!
I applied ED to Rose Hill! December 20th can’t come soon enough ugh
I applied EA to Rose Hill!
My son applied EA to Rose Hill. I’m looking at past years and they talk about “likely letters” and the fact that they came out in advance of the letter that is mailed home. Can anyone explain what these are, if Fordham would be sending these emails this year, and when they might be sent if this is something they still do? Thank you!
@nrvsabtcllg Are you talking about my stats? If it is, then thank you so much for saying that. I’ve had a crappy day. I wrote my SAT this morning and I didn’t sleep well last night and the deadline to register for the December one is over. I am really sad right now and that is just what I wanted to hear. Do you think my SAT score is okay?
And good luck to you too.
Does anyone know if a priority application increases your admission chances?
@Nimisha99 don’t worry, I think you have solid stats and a good chance at Fordham RH under EA! Don’t beat yourself up I’m sure that you’ll be just fine.
Also, I’m not sure if priority applications increase chances or if they’re just a recruitment technique used by colleges.
@aimster888 Likely letters are basically letters that go out way ahead of the other admissions decisions to inform a highly qualified candidate that they’ve been accepted. Apparently, they’re extremely random and not guaranteed to even the most qualified students or those who applied ED. I’m not sure the exact purpose of certain admissions decisions being sent out prior to the ED/EA decision date, but I’m sure there is some reasoning behind this. Last year they came out at the end of November/first week of December. Other ED/EA applicants weren’t notified until the second or third week in December.
I applied EA to Lincoln Center!
EA to Gabelli Lincoln Center !
EA to Lincoln Center !
@nrsvabtcllg Thank you for your reply. We got a letter from the office of admissions this week saying that they were waiting on the CSS profile to process a financial aid package for my son so we’all be sending that in this week. We’ve already heard an affirmative from one other school so things seem to be moving, which is good. The waiting game is hard.
Daughter applied E.A Gabelli Lincoln Center . Best of luck to all of you that applied !
I applied Early Action to Rose Hill! Dec 19 still seems so far away…
Son applied EA to Rose Hill!
