<p>So what does it mean when you are accepted to Fordham and you get a deans scholarship for at least 10,000??? Does it mean it may be more? How can we truly make a decision based on this? My son has full tuition to St Johns and I guess I will know what Fordham will actually give him once the financial package comes along. But merit is merit right? Why should we get an unknown amount of merit from a University? This to me is very dissapointing and we can not even consider Fordham based on this.</p>
<p>It is kinda confusing but I’m assuming you are referring to the estimated aid package sent out a while ago. Soon you should receive paperwork with exactly what you are getting. This will include a scholarship offer that you need to maintain a certain GPA to get every year and “fordham gift aid” which can change yearly based on your FASFA.</p>
<p>note- the fordham gift aid can sometimes be substantially more than the scholarship if you have a lot of need so don’t give up hope!</p>
