<p>Does anyone know when they will be sending out their decisions for this program? I understand that you don't get your university decision until the dance decision is made.</p>
<p>Also has anyone ever heard if a student has been accepted to the university but NOT the Ailey program! Just wondering if that scenario exists. Thanks!</p>
<p>@pmcolorado - at DDs audition, they said the official notification comes from the university, not ailey, by end of March. However, in talking w/ some of the students, they said they received an “early” acceptance letter in February. </p>
<p>It is possible to get accepted into fordham and not ailey.</p>

<p>My DD got her acceptance today!! Woohooo! SO excited!
She got an email saying to check the online student portal for her decision. Almost had a heart attack and hands were shaking while we tried to log on to the portal. When we saw the first sentence “It is with great pleasure…” we lost our breath. It has been an agonizing process and this was a great piece of news. Phew! </p>

<p>Yes, it was one letter that indicated academic and Ailey BFA acceptance. We clicked on View Status and it took us to a letter on school letterhead.</p>
<p>@pmcolorado - just back from europe and saw the great news. AWESOME! Your DD must be so excited. we still haven’t heard - either way. we’ll have to see this week, when i think the remaining RD are notified. Once again, congrats!</p>
<p>Hi - My DD has also been admitted to the Fordham/AA program (also a take-your-breath-away sort of moment for us!). We are waiting for the financial aid package - have you received anything? It was our first audition (back in Dec) and I don’t remember if they said that they have talent money, as well as academic money - do you know? We are waiting on a few decisions this week, then for the finan aid packages. So hard to wait!</p>
<p>No financial aid package yet here either. We heard from another parent whose daughter is currently in Ailey’s year round program and also applied to the BFA that they were told there was no talent money. But who knows?</p>

<p>@pmcolorado - does your friend’s daughter like the Ailey program? My DD is a ballet girl - and is of course, thrilled to be accepted to the BFA program at Fordham - but wondering about the ballet. The other programs she has been admitted to are more ballet-oriented. </p>
