Hello all!
I've been accepted to both Fordham and Rutger's business programs, but I'm still in the dark as far as their alumni network, education, campus life, etc. go.
Which of the two is better? Assuming I pay roughly 10k more for Fordham, which is the better investment?
Please tell me all you can about the schools and why one is better than the other. If it helps, I'd like to work in finance after graduation.

10k more per year or overall?
Can you afford both?

I should’ve been more specific. Rutgers will be roughly 25k a year, and Fordham should be around 35-40.

Can you afford Fordham without loans etc?

It’s likely that we’ll be able to afford Fordham without loans.

OH I forgot to mention- this is for undergrad.

Anyone? :(

Helloooooooo?

I can’t speak to Rutgers business school - I’ll assume that it’s a good program and has a strong career network.

Fordham has a very good alumni network, especially if you plan to stay in the NY area. Your opportunities for internships will also be very good.

Would you be a resident student or a commuter? If a resident student, I’d urge you to visit both if you haven’t already. There’s a very big difference between the 2 campus environments. Fordham is smaller, with a much tighter campus community. The business school at Fordham is fairly conservative - not uncommon for many business schools. I don’t know the vibe at Rutgers, but those are things to consider as well.
