Fordham College Of Liberal Studies, for a traditional student?

Hey everyone, my situation is that originally I was planning on attending St Johns university in the fall, so I have my schedule made and everything is fine for a day student (just graduated from a community college). However, last minute I decided I would like to go to Fordham University, but I missed the traditional day time student application deadline, and the only way I can get in is if I attended College of Liberal Studies (for night students, working people, veterans etc..). The counselor I spoke to said that I could attend college of liberal studies for a semester or two, then do an internal transfer to become a traditional day student. Does anyone here have experience with fordham and know anything about college of liberal studies? its prestige, if its the same degree as the normal day time students? They told me it was the same, I just would like to know if anyone here has any information as well.... Thanks for your time (p.s will be attending Rose Hill campus)

i’ve met quite a few fordham employees who have taken advantage of free classes and were in FCLS. seems like a decent program. in the end you’ll be getting your degree with fordham university. not sure it will matter what school specifically, especially if you do an internal transfer.

I know some of the night classes can go until past 9pm. Other than that, I *think/i that you can still take regular classes as an LS student. Last fall I had a few night classes as a traditional student (or maybe they were regular classes at night. I really don’t remember), so I would assume it works both ways?
