@senior2016x are you talking about the likely letter? They got the likely letters on Nov.24 I believe. What twitter account are you talking about? I want to check it out!
@Fiona1997 If you go to the fordhamnotes twitter account, they have favorited some tweets about acceptances. Also,do you know if likely letters are for the most qualified candidates?
Found this tweet from 11/24 - @fordhamnotes: @dianalejandro_ Diana, a small number of Early Action and Early Decision went out; the majority will receive notifications in December.
Hey guys, I know I havenāt really posted here before, but I just realized today that I got a likely letter on November 23rd from Fordham for the Lincoln Center (RH?) campus.
Haha, initially I hadnāt read the email because I thought it was another promotional email, but someone on here mentioned getting the email from someone named Patricia Peek and that was when I went to check.
On another note, Iām definitely going to run around the house screaming as soon as I get home from swim practice haha.
Congrats, @NotAMathlete!
same thing happened to me, @NotAMathlete ! Got the email 11/23, read the first sentence and thought it was just a promotion so I ignored it. After reading about the likely letter a couple days ago, I went back and saw I had been accepted. Would have known a week ago if I had read one more sentence!
When do those of us who did not receive likely letters find out?
Website says by Dec. 20
In response to the likely letters. I received one, and my gf received one. We both applied to the Lincoln Center campus. However, my friends that applied to the rose hill campus did not receive one, even though their stats are similar to mine. I think that because so many people apply to rose hill, they were not able to send likely letters for that school. I might be wrong though, just my thought.
I donāt think thats the case. I received a likely letter and I applied to Gabelli at Rose Hill.
@omarnesh How are your stats if you donāt mind me asking? I also applied for Gabelli at Rose Hill but didnāt receive a likely
I also received one for Gabelli at Rose Hill.
@emilyskates i had a 32 act w/ a 93.5 unweighted gpa taking a full IB diploma course load lolā¦ also had a lotta ecās like varsity basketball since sophomore year, junior and senior year captainā¦ and a good amount of service lol
If you donāt receive a likely letter, what does this mean? I applied October 6th but havenāt heard anything yet. Thought I was a good candidate for Fordham, but havenāt received a likely letter yetā¦
@srinivs The fact that I didnāt receive one is bugging me to death. 35 ACT, 96 UW GPA, 800 Math 2, 800 USH, National Merit Semifinalist. Although I applied like five hours before the deadline so maybe it has something to do with that?
Iām sure youāre in - sounds like you have a presidential scholarship cooking to me. Be patient. Many are still waiting with good to great credentials - my son is also waiting it out.
I was accepted at Rose Hill, 2120 SAT, 3.83 GPA.
Question: When do we find out about merit scholarships? (On December 20? After?) And how? (Snail mail, email, student portal)
@anothermuggle merit scholarships can take up until february- they will only tell you in your physical letter, not on the portal.
Hi guys! I havenāt posted on this thread before but I received a likely letter on the 23rd for Fordham College at Rose Hill! I am very happy because Fordham is my second choice and I will most likely go there if I do not get into my first choice. My stats were pretty good for Fordham, but I am not sure why I received a likely letter when people with higher stats didnāt. Anyways, good luck to everyone, we find out (officially) in less than two weeks!!!
Do we find out on the 20th?
