I am really, really upset. I received an email stating that I got into the school and should start working on my financial aid, but then this morning when I woke up, I got another email stating that it was a mistake and not a correct evaluation of my admissions status. I read that some other people were told that they were accepted in that letter. This must mean that I didn't get in. I'm so upset and embarrassed! I told so many people that I got in and now they're snatching it back - I would have been happier if I had gotten a rejection letter. What a slap in the face. I am so sad now, I don't want to go to school today.

It is unfortunate but it isn’t the end of the world. Wait to see the final outcome. I doubt you’d be happier with a rejection, since you still might have an admit.

I got the same email too, it is frustrating, but we just have to have faith. We don’t know for sure if we did not get in. If we did not get in its not the end of the world there are other colleges, I wish you luck!

I’m in the exact same position!! I’m so anxious and just waiting on 3 pm to check officially…of course my first college notification would get screwed up…

I am so anxious, but I don’t know why this service which they are partnered with would send an email to rejected students, so maybe we do have a good shot. I am hoping that everyone who got this email is accepted because it is ridiculous, but then again mistakes happen.

This has happened before from different schools. I guess one should not be too excited until receiving other confirmation of acceptance.
