Mcgill is great ; but for residents , especially those of Quebec but also those of Canada, its quite ‘‘easy’’ to get into the less competitive programs. Seriously, except for Med and Law, its not that hard…All my friends who applied got in to the programs of their choice, a few in Med and a couple in Law. And for us, its <em>virtually</em> free.
For internationals, I know it is more competitive to be admitted but I also know that they basically almost exclusively focus on scores for admission. Best GPA and SATs get in out of the list of applicants.
For Can. students from other provinces, they calculate your average from your 6 best classes and that counts as your ‘‘admission or scholarship average’’. For Quebec kids, its this CEGEP cote R story…</p>
