<p>I am at Wayne State University in Detroit. I'm applying to Fordham University. I have a 3.2-3 with about 50 credits, as a Finance Major. What do you think the easiest program to transfer into ? Also if there is any pointers anyone can give me that can help me get accepted would be GREATLY appreciated!</p>

<p>I am a student at Fordham University and I actually work in admissions so maybe I can help! Generally for transfer students we look for a 3.0 and above, so looks like you’re good on that account! We don’t accept above 60 credits to be transfered and all of your current credits will be reviewed by our department and you will be notified of which credits transfer. There isn’t an “easiest” program to get into in my opinion, but it looks like you’d want to apply to the College of Business Administration (CBA) for your finance major. As for pointers, just have everything in on time (deadline is June 1st!) and you should hear back within a couple weeks of applying (transfer applications are rolling admission). </p>

<p>I was wondering if you still work in admissions?
I just sent my application in about a week and a half ago and I was wondering if you can rate my chances if it isn’t too much trouble :)</p>
<p>When I graduated from HS i attended HUnter college but soon fell ill - so dropped some classes but due to the poor administration at Hunter there were complications and the classes that i initially dropped turned up on my transcript as F’s and INC’s so that along with being sick damaged my GPA a LOT. I then enrolled in a community college-Kingsborough in Brooklyn and still there at present–my GPA is now a 3.681 and am honors representative and a phi theta kappa member there. I have 20 credits and by the end of this term I will have 32. I wrote a strong essay and I have great recommendations (one is from an alumni) and have extracurriculars and community service. My HS GPA was a 90% and I was in the honors program there too. My SAT scores were a 1600.
I am just worried that my GPA from Hunter will make the officers at Fordham reject me…?
I did however send a note in explaining why the GPA is so low.
Do you think this will hurt my chances at all?</p>
