I was accepted at all of these schools and I am trying to decide which one to go to. I am planning on majoring in accounting. I got a scholarship to every school. However, being in-state the scholarship makes UConn 10k a year. Every other school would require me to take out 5k a year minimum. Which one should I choose?

I really would like to work out of New York City when I graduate, I lived here as a child and I want to move back. Even though I'm not very far away currently.

With that list of schools I would not recommend choosing one that would put you 50K in debt. They are all on the same level academically....I would advise choosing UConn or Rutgers. (If I am reading your post right, I'm a little confused about the 10K a year for UConn...)

My son graducated from UCONN last year with a degree in Accounting. He was able to get a wonderful internship with a top company after his junior year, and they offered him a full-time job after graduation. They are helping him to pay for his masters in accounting, along with all of the costs necessary for him to get his CPA. Many of the other interns who were hired came from colleges that were much, much more expensive--and they have large loans to pay off. He is happy to be working in Hartford, but the company has offices all over the country, and he has several friends who wanted to work in NYC and Stamford, even though it is a more expensive place to be living. I think that if you can get hired by one of the Big 4 companies, and do well, you can put in for a transfer to whatever city in the country you would like to be in.
