There was only one Fordham 2021 thread and I didn’t want to clutter it with RD stuff
I applied RD and I’m awaiting my response very nervous!
Was deferred, #1 school though! Let’s hope we both get in!
I applied to Fordham rd and is super nervous right now. Can someone tell me do I even have a chance for Fordham. My gpa is a 3.6,
sat is 1200(I know it sucks) and the
sat 2 subject and got a perfect score of 800.
Took ap macro/government, ap calc, ap computer science
Honors Spanish
Third place for science research
Semifinalist for New York Mock Trial
Joined Red Cross
Editor of school newspaper
Had done community service
And tons of other ec’s
Let’s hope we all get in
Yeah, we’ll know in a few weeks!!! I really really hope we can all meet and hang out at orientation! And you have great stats, I guess it just depends on the applicant pool. There’s no way anyone of us can know, but I know Fordham really looks at the whole person. In a few weeks man…
Does anyone know the date they’re releasing applications? I got deferred from EA and that letter said “on or around April 1st” but has anyone heard the specific date?
After living through this college process with my daughter, I think these schools would save lots of families lots of grief if they send out rejections earlier. Decisions have been made weeks ago! It would allow us all to eliminate schools and start to plan.
Has anyone else received a student account with a student ID and everything on the my.fordham.edu account? I want to go to Fordham more than anything, they’re done with my application, and I’m just wondering if anyone knows what this could mean?
Did you get a “my Fordham” account? All my D has is the check your application on the Admissions Website.
If so, How/When did you get that account?
I had to update a finaid document for my D in February and they said to just go and create a my.fordham.edu account and I did and uploaded the corrected document.
Around the same time as @Dolemite for the same reason. I’m super excited and scared… I was hoping someone else would get one, cause no one else I’ve asked or know has recieved it.
If you don’t have a “my.Fordham” how do they notify you about admissions?
when did decisions come out last year?
@mimimo7890 I believe decisions were released March 17th last year. So does anyone think decisions will come out this Friday? Did they send out an email last year before decisions were released?

I think it will say status update in an email and then you check the admissions portal, just read last years thread and it was deff the 17 so hopefully this week!
@flute1298 We have an admissions.fordham and a my.fordham.edu account, so we can still get status updates. I really really hope we can get a decision this week. That’ll just ease my brain if I get in, and I can move on if I don’t.
