Deferred! Ugh… I was really hoping to get accepted. Fordham was my number one school too. I guess I should be happy I wasn’t outright rejected lol I was below the middle 50% for the SAT. Anyway, I just really wished the application process would be over by now but I guess I still have a few months of anxiety and uncertainty:(

Accepted!

SAT I (breakdown): 600 CR. 650 M. 750 W.
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.7
State (if domestic applicant): New York
School Type: Small private school
Ethnicity: Black
Gender: Male

how do you check to see if you received a dean’s scholarship? I probably didn’t I’m just wondering

I found out about the Deans scholarship in the letter right underneath my acceptance!

@saus2019 I’m in the same exact boat as you…Number one school, deferred, but at least it’s not a rejection…How are you planning on dealing with this because I’m devastated lol I plan on sending in my mid year grades (obviously) but that’s about it…I’m soooo tired of waiting, and I’m still not even confident for RD…But there’s a reason they didn’t straight up reject us, which is good!

@saus2019 @spldnlvr I’m also in the same boat. Fordham’s by far my #1 but I was deferred from GSB. Lincoln Center… Math portion of SAT was under the 50th percentile so I think that’s why… At least the decision finally came, I’ve been dying to know. Still haven’t given up hope yet! We have another (and frankly better) chance RD! :)

Accepted at Rose Hill with four year guaranteed housing  I was hoping for a merit scholarship, but I don’t think I got one unfortunately.

@dancingwriter‌, I didn’t get any merit aid either but I think it’s because they considered me an international student which is really weird.

@Anduar3 That’s strange… You should email them to make sure. Anyway, I hope international students receive the merit scholarship information later haha (longshot, but still).

If my acceptance doesnt say anything about merit scholarship, did I not receive anything? I emailed my specified contact at Fordham to make sure but I’m really surprised if I received nothing…

Could someone explain to me how I can see the financial aid that I may or may not have received?

@thebirdman5091 So it’s likely that our chances of getting RD are better? I really hope so! So basically all we do is send in our Midyear report and that’s it? A little confused on the whole process lol but I’m just excited that we have another chance!
