Fordham University EA Class of 2019!

@spldnlvr Yes, our chances of getting in RD are infinitely better! Fordham is notorious for mostly accepting students with super high stats EA and deferring most others to RD. Especially this year since 18,000 people applied EA alone, they probably had more than enough kids with crazy stats. It’s not like Harvard where a deferral is as good as a rejection. In fact, we, the people with Fordham’s average stats that got deferred EA, have an edge over most people like us applying RD because we showed interest by applying EA!
But yep, that’s all you have to do, as far as I know.

accepted

lincoln center

ACCEPTEDDDDD!!! MY GOODNESS I so happy Iv been having a shitt year

@thebirdman5091 Wow thank you so much! This made my day a lot better and I’m feeling a tad more confident now! I was super bummed at first but now I’m just realizing that we just have to wait a little longer for what I’m hoping is our acceptances!

Hey all. So I got deferred from Gabelli at Lincoln Center today, which is obviously harder to get into than the general college. On the portal, there is a form request to change major / college. If I change it to Fordham College at Lincoln Center, would my application be re-reviewed and possibly accepted there? Because it does say all changes are reviewed as they come in.

The cohort of Gabelli at Lincoln Center is very very small. The main business school is at Rose Hill and accepts a lot more people. Because the cohort of Gabelli at Lincoln Center is so small its going to be hard to get into and even harder for EA.

If you change to FCLC it might improve your chances of getting in, because its a larger school, than Gabelli at Lincoln Center. No clue when they notify you. The new dorms and buildings at Lincoln Center are world class and lovely. But I am still someone who prefers a typical college campus like Rose Hill. That is up to you.

Hey! So everyone join the facebook group for the Fordham class of 2019!!

Also, A LOT of people have not been notified of merit scholarships. Don’t be worried just yet if you were not notified. The portal says that all merit scholarships and financial aid will be maid available to applicants by January 31st. So don’t be worried just yet. Over 93% of Freshman receive scholarships of some kind. So if you were accepted EA, you’re most likely getting some kind of money. It’s just that not everyone has been notified yet. SO KEEP YOUR HEADS UP.

GO RAMS!

Accepted to FCRH with the Semifinalist Scholarship! Beyond excited and grateful! However, since applying I’ve thought about changing my major to marketing in the business school. Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer into the business school before I’m actually at Fordham?
