Fordham University EA Class of 2019!

I know two super smart people who got accepted EA weeks ago. smh. I can’t wait any longer ughhhh

@creative5547‌ I don’t think it will affect your decision - it might affect your financial aid though.

@Homer101‌ don’t worry!! I don’t think anyone has heard anything from Fordham except for the top applicants who got accepted a few weeks back. Stay calm!! Just a few days  we can do this guys!!

@fazeeeeeeel‌ Thanks for the reassurance! I’m struggling with the “stay calm” part. Whatever happens, good luck to you! I know how bad you want this.

Thank you! And same to you! I really want this acceptance, especially because I know that I’m going to get rejected from my #1 (NYU). I just really need to go to school in Manhattan :frowning: I hope we all get in  @Homer101‌

For those who got accepted (first, congrats!!) how did you find out? email, regular mail, or do we login to our applicant portal?

hello
I just realized that it’s almost time for Fordham decisions and I hopped my way over to this thread
I’m really surprised that a lot of people have already been accepted.
I only applied here because of the fee waiver they sent me and the no-supplement thing, but now I really want to go. Problem is…I didn’t send any teacher recommendations, because it was too early for them
ugh anyway, I didn’t know this was a competitive school
Good Luck to all of you guys who actually did your app well
Hope you all get in!

10 days left! We got this

@ocomea15‌ For me at least, I got an email.

Just received an email from Fordham…it says that decisions will be released through the portal no later than December 19th

That’s not helpful at all, they said no later than the 19th but not the exact date. I mean we were already expecting it on the 20th so saying no later than the 19th is not that big of a difference. Why the subterfuge Fordham, just say the exact date.

Does Fordham release all of their decisions at the same time?

@Anduar3‌ exactly! They’re just trying to be sneaky I guess haha

@nat97xo I think it will be in waves…Hopefully they start tomorrow and at the latest monday! I can’t wait any longer :(

Hi all - I’m hoping someone can answer my question. I am NOT applying for financial aid, so did not submit the CSS form. Since I will be self-financing my education, I assume there is no requirement to fill the CSS out. Am I correct in that assumption?

@sovereigndebt‌ I’m confused and am hoping you can help me out. I am NOT applying for financial aid, so did not submit the CSS form. Since I am self-financing my education, I assume there is no requirement to fill the CSS out. Am I correct in that assumption? I applied EA to Fordham and my application has been complete since late October. Like others, today I received the email from admissions notifying me that the decision on my application will be posted no later than 12/19. In an earlier post, you mentioned that the CSS is required for all applicants. I don’t understand why that would be the case for those not seeking financial aid. Any input you can provide is appreciated.

When do you guys think they will begin sending out admission decisions?

@Brianna3 I am in the same boat in terms of not needing financial aid. I talked to the admissions office and they said I didn’t need to fill it out, and that leaving it blank would not affect my admissions decision. They said if I am accepted, though, I could send an email to the financial aid office and explain my situation.

Also, was I the only one that had a mini-heart attack because of the email today, haha? In my head I was thinking, “YESSS OMG THIS IS IT THANK YOUUUU,” and then I actually read the email.

Oh, Fordham. You tease.

Should I make a new thread for decisions? It’ll be much easier for future applicants
