hi! i also applied to fordham as a transfer for the fall of 2015 and I was just wondering if any of you guys also sent in a personal statement along with the essay that was required in the common app. ??
@buttercupp6496 The essay that was required with the common app was your personal statement. That is my assumption at least.

@erinhhill that’s awesome! I didn’t apply to nyu because I thought my high school stats were too low (1750 & like 92) what were yours like?
@tigetbear21 Thank you! You really should consider applying! My high school GPA was probably around a 3.3, and my ACT was a 29. But my college grades have been great and I think my essay was a big factor in why they chose to accept me. They could tell I was determined to succeed and that I was 200% confident that I could thrive in a place like NYU!
My application was complete in January/early February. If I emailed Mark Ciolli on Tuesday about when Id hear a decision and he told me to send my midterm report in, should I still expect a decision tomorrow?
@yankees625 im not sure, it depends on how long they would take to evaluate it. what are your stats if you dont mind me asking?

I applied LC though which might be why I haven’t heard. I know @sikcjor who originally reported the Friday decision date also applied Gabelli so maybe today is Gabelli only? Also what were your stats like as a point of reference? Congrats again!

@sikcjor I contacted Mark Ciolli and he said to send midterm grades so hopefully soon following that. I wouldn’t be frustrated if they didn’t say the end of March to begin with. Oh well I’ll find out eventually!
