Fordham University RD class of 2022

@annamom In the update we had the admissions letter and a financial separate fin aid letter

@BoroDad thanks. I checked the update, it brought me to the acceptance page and a link to fordham.edu/finaid.
I just hope they haven’t finished rather than an indication that there is no aid.

I got fin. aid and filed a CSS profile. I’m not sure if it was required or not but I know I had to submit it for my non-custodial parent.

At the bottom of the acceptance letter there was a hyperlink to click on to see it. :slight_smile:

Daughter accepted today but no scholarship info. We didn’t complete CSS profile - didn’t realize it would preclude merit aid :frowning:

Accepted! 1450 SAT 3.4 UW 4.75 W

we filed both CSS and FAFSA, but I could not find the link to the financial aid letter.

@campingkathryn @annamom I was specifically told by an admissions counselor (in the theatre program, but still an admissions counselor) that merit aid does NOT need a FAFSA/CSS. My daughter got her admission letter 2 weeks ago, and we still don’t know what kind of merit aid she’s getting – and I was told that merit aid is still being decided. I don’t know when that’ll be, but I imagine by April 1st.

@campingkathryn

We did not file CSS (filed FAFSA though) and got merit. My D applied EA.

My daughter got accepted to Lincoln Center for communication and Media with a 1440, 4.0 UW GPA, decent leadership and a lot of volunteer work. We were happy that she got 25 K in merit. We did fill out the Fafsa and the CSS.

Did anyone from Fordham Lincoln Center HEOP get an admission letter yet?

I got accepted to Lincoln center but I’m starting to have second thoughts. Is Lincoln’s center campus really that bad??

What negative things have you heard about Lincoln Center? Curious minds want to know.

I’ve heard that it’s there’s no social scene and lots of people go home on the weekends. The “it’s not your average college experience” thing doesn’t bug me bc I’m still considering NYU which has a similar layout to Lincoln Center where there isn’t really a quad etc.

@ kuhlm44937 Thank you for the response regarding Lincoln Center. Sounds kind of like a community college. My daughter has applied to NYU too. She is really looking for an urban campus experience too. Good luck to you.
