Fordham University Regular Decision Class of 2020

@pleasedonot Ohhh thats interesting. I assumed it would be by email too but i got a letter in the mail yesterday with a scheduled appointment for tuesday and yes it asked for documentation and to sign a statement that said im eligible and interested in the interview and to send it to them. I feel like my interview is kind of late lol. Did you send anything or you just brought everything with you on the day of the interview? Thanks!

@nutellaisbae I did a little bit of both, i brought in most of the things, but the things that i was missing i emailed over.
Which campus did you apply to? I applied to LC.

@pleasedonot ohh okay. i was actually gonna ask you that i was thinking that u probably applied to lincoln center. i applied to rosehill. did they mostly just talk about your financial eligibility or what?

Does anyone know if it is better to do pre-med at Lincoln Center or at Rose Hill?

@nutellaisbae Its actually a very formal interview, they want to know why you? once you start the interview, they ask follow up questions based on your answers, you get to meet with a financial aid adviser separately after the interview to discuss income and any additional documentation that they want you to bring.
I found out today that I got Accepted! I really hope everything works out for you as-well and please let me know if you have any other questions.

Best of Luck!

Oh my gosh congradulations!!! It only took a week for them to get back to you too  you were totally right about your interview going well xD oh why me? Questions like those scare me im bad at interviews but you seem like a really likable person  oh i see i didnt know the financial part was seperate from the interview thats nice to know
Thank you so much! I would like to be accepted but if not its alright, it is what it is.
Im glad you got accepted. Do mind if I ask you what your stats are? Im curious lol

@nutellaisbae It’s all good, I hope you get in as-well, They cover 90% of the tuition, which is Amazing, considering how much it costs, they also give you a stipend, just for attending school! This program has many benefits, something that they will discuss with you more thoroughly during the interview.
My GPA: 3.0 ACT:20

Best of Luck!

So has anyone committed to Fordham yet?

@scholar861 I’ve decided that I’m going, but I haven’t submitted the deposit or anything yet.

@ParksAndWrecked Yay! I might go to Fordham too (unless I get off the waiting list for NYU). Which campus are you planning on attending?

Is anyone going to the Spring Preview tomorrow at Rose Hill?

@scholar861 I got waitlisted at NYU too, but I just crossed it off my list because I could’t handle waiting two more months just to see if I got in, ha. And Lincoln Center, how about you?

@ParksAndWrecked Oh :frowning: I feel you though. I hate waiting too, but NYU has always been one of my dream schools so I’m really hoping I get in. And I applied for the Rose Hill campus.

hey @pleasedonot , thanks! im hoping i get in too lol. i had my interview and I thought that it was a disaster since I hardly knew what to say properly but but it seemed that it turned alrightish in the end but i never know for sure till i get my letter. did you get it by mail or email? this is stressful since may 1st is arriving soon and almost everyone else knows where theyre going. lol yeah their financial package is amazing but he didnt go into details how much the stipend was. yeah i like how heop provides u with free tutoring and all that. are you gonna do work study? and your stats are good. my gpa is lower than yours :x

@nutellaisbae Yeah i am definitely doing work study. I just got the financial aid package today and it essentially covers full tuition.(i only have to pay $130). I first got a notification via email telling me to login and check decision status and that’s where i found out i got accepted. Don’t worry about it i am sure you did fine. To be quiet honest with you, NYU was my first choice, I had the HEOP interview and was told they cover 70% tuition, I was rejected. I wondered why, what did i do wrong ? but it all worked out for the best with fordham, where they covered full tuition!
In short everything happens for a reason

I hope you get into Fordham, it has a truly amazing environment and the staff are mad chill B-)
NYU was the exact opposite, the staff were always in a crappy mood and the students seemed to all be self centered.
Enrolling into Fordham has probably been one of the best decision that i’ve made in my life!

Best of luck and let me know how everything works out!

Is it possible to transfer from Rose Hill to Lincoln Center at this point? And is anyone going to major in Natural Sciences at Lincoln Center?

@pleasedonot thats good i love the idea of work study. ohhh thats amazing $130 is like nothing for fordham ohh i see and thanks tomorrow will make it like a week since my interview trying to patiently wait it out lol oh nyu pshhhh they were only goonna give only 70% anyways and thats awesome that everything worked out for the best xD i was honestly never even really interested in nyu my dream school was fordham xD and yeahh it seems like a really nice chill beautiful school xD oh really? im surprised i would have expected that nyu had a better staff and lol i heard from my friend that the students seem pretentious but shes going to nyu lol funny enuf she got rejected from fordham even tho she wanted to go there :open_mouth: these admissions are unpredictable anyways im glad everything worked out so well for u and thaks ill let u know!!

@pleasedonot i just found out i got accepted to fordham university HEOP1!!! i spoke too soon man

@pleasedonot do i put summer 2016 or fall 2016???

@scholar861 yeah, there’s a campus/major change option on one of the portals I think. I switched earlier this month. Housing and scholarships don’t change.
