Since Fordham’s liberal arts core is very extensive and difficult, it makes it very difficult for some students to manage their coursework. Nevertheless, Fordham has an excellent academic reputation, and if your son can maintain good GPA there, it will look very good. I have heard that the admissions rate to medical school is consistently above 80% for Fordham students, which exceeds the national average. By the way, the dean of Stanford’s medical school is actually a Fordham graduate.</p>
