I’m a senior in high school and I’m applying to Fordham University. What are my chances of getting in? I took 4 APs and 6 Honors classes all throughout my high school years. I am President and Vice President of two different clubs at school. I’ve been a volunteer at the humane society since 10th grade, I’ve practiced martial arts since I was 10, and I’ve been a Spanish tutor since last year. I also joined a mentoring program this year at school and I am part of the National Honors Society. I am also a first generation college student.

So… what do you guys think?
I have similar scores. Did you get the fee waiver? you have a good shot, and they gave me a fee waiver and an expediated application - obviously this does not mean I will be accepted but it at least says your scores are around what they usually accept. I’m on the fence about applying. What do you like about it/ why do you want to go there?
I’m commuting to school and it’s close to home, which is important to me. I really like the campus as well. The environment and the the whole feel of the school really attracted me when I went to visit. I also want to major in communications and it’s one of their most popular majors. I also like how it’s close to the city, and that the teacher to student ratio is low.
