I plan on studying international business in college. I like Drexel because of the 3 co op opportunities, but i think that the access of NYC that Fordham offers could be very beneficial. However, Fordham does not include any info on their website about co ops/internships. Which of these schools do you think is a better fit for an international business major who wants experience before graduating college?
For starters, I dont like school comparisons. Because too many people focus only on ranking. And its a very subjective analysis, depending on your needs, finances, location, abilities and objectives.
Fordham has amazing internships. Fordham has international study programs and a program in China. Gabelli people can tell you more about that if they want…and other international programs.
Fordham is a very good school with a unique physical setting(s) and in New York. I cant say that going to Drexel or Fordham is an obvious yay or nay…you have to visit, talk to people, compare offers and do a realistic assessment of your likelihood of success. Grades matter when it comes to internships. For everyone.
On the surface I would pick Fordham. But it may cost more and everyone is different. Experience matters for getting good jobs, but in truth, grades matter more…and those also get the best internships…and experience.
Make sense? Good luck.
