<p>That is totally a matter of opinion and solely a personal decision. Based on guidebook rankings like US News, I would definitely have to say that yes, Fordham is "better."</p>
<p>However, I was accepted at both schools. I was even 1 of 16 entering freshman chosen for Fordham's honor program at the LC. You know what? I turned it down to go to Hofstra this fall.</p>
<p>It's a decision that you, and only you, can make. Maybe Fordham offers a major you're interested in that Hofstra doesn't. Maybe you're great at basketball and want to go to Hofstra because their team is NCAA Division I. I made out a list of the things that were most important to me. After considering all aspects of that list, Hostra won out.</p>
<p>Don't get me wrong- Fordham is a fantastic school. But I personally couldn't be happier with my decision.</p>

<p>Well, overall, academic wise...Fordham is a much better school. But you should go with what suits you best.</p>
<p>Hostra is more of a party school for spoiled kids, and the people may seem very materialistic. Also you'll need a car... and if it's not a Mercedes or BMW then you're a nobody. Some people actually enjoy the party/ rich kid atmosphere. You should visit both before making your choice.</p>
<p>And if I may add, I got accepted to both like the above student..but I will be attending Hofstra this Fall 2007 as well!</p>
