My son has been offered admission to both Fordham Global Business Honors Program and the Dean's Leadership Program at Santa Clara's Leavey School of Business.

^^^Some info from a recent discussion on GBHP. Hopefully some students/parents will chime in with further info on what made Fordham the right choice for them.

NYC vs. Silicon Valley will likely be a decision based on personal preference. Ask a NYer and it’s a no brainer. Ask someone from CA and you might get another answer! Good luck! :)

I’m from CA, I’ve visited both schools and have been to Santa Clara many times.

I’ve been accepted to Fordham and have not heard from Santa Clara yet. (Transfer Student). I agree with the other person. I think it really depends on personal preference. I think the schools are very similar academically and both offer great programs.

For some Fordham may seem too urban. I really like Santa Clara and where it is located. It is easily defined as suburban and relatively close to everything in the silicon valley.

Being from CA I’d prefer to go to Santa Clara but I really do like Fordham too. Santa Clara may be ranked higher but 2 or 3 years out of college and those rankings will mean nothing. It will just be oh that is a really good school.
