Fordham's (Rose Hill) Gay/Lesbian Population

I'm a high school senior (girl) trying to decide between Fordham and Northeastern. Being...bi-curious, I guess you'd say, I really would love to know anything about the campus attitude/gay population at Fordham. Are people generally open with their sexuality? Are they "segregated" from the general student population? (Specifically I'm looking for answers about Fordham, not NYC in general) Okay, I'm won't go around it: are there many lesbians/bisexual girls? Does the fact that Fordham is Catholic have any effects on a gay population?

If you have a problem with this, please be respectful and refrain from posting negative comments. They will not, as most homophobes hope, anger me (or any other gay people on the forum), they merely serve as a source of entertainment. Don't make a fool of yourself.

I have a few lesbian friends here (Rose Hill). There’s a very active LGBT group called Pride Alliance that receives support from the office of multicultural affairs. I feel like the student body mixes fairly well with gay students, especially for a Catholic school. I think you could probably find another school with a larger, more prominent gay population, but I feel like the gay students I know here are happy with the school. And Lincoln Center is supposedly even more gay friendly. I think Fordham’s Jesuit identity contributes for the overall tolerance of gay students, in addition to the school being in New York.
