Foreign asset help! (International students please help!)

I've been admitted early to a 100% need met school, including international students.

My family have a house in a foreign country although we live in the u.s., and I have reported its estimated value on the CSS profile (which is the form my school asks for international students), and the school made a tentative financial aid based on that.

Now, time for IDOC and verification to finalize the aid.

We have 1040 and w2 coming out soon so all the incomes and assets here will be verified ok, but I do not know what to do for the house in the another country.

It will not be on the tax forms because our CPA told us that we do not report it since there is no income coming out of the house.

So my question is, how does the school want us to verify the info about house in foreign country? Does it need verification at all?

If any international students have experience, please share them!
Anyone with knowledge about this situation, please comment.
Thank you.

The school will tell you exactly what documents to send to idoc. We were not asked to send verification of assets, just the tax forms. If you are asked to verify how much the house is worth, a real estate tax notice with valuation would work.
