Does foreign coursework add up to the limit of units to transfer to UCs? I want to transfer to UCLA, UCB, or UCSD. I know that each of those have a different policy about limit of units to transfer when units of a community college and a 4 year institution are combined. However... what happens if such 4-year institution is a foreign institution? are those credits considered for the "limit of units to transfer"? I also know that it is hard to get credit from foreign coursework... but I am not interested in getting credit. I only want to know about the limit of units to transfer regarding foreign institutions.

I’ve heard conflicting reports on this.

However, I was personally told by a UCLA counselor that visited my CC that if you remain at at a CCC for one year, then you will be considered as a CC transfer and only those units would count but I would still need to report all coursework including foreign.

Thank youu!!
